Our Story
- I am Dericklyn Parker, founder and CEO of GRACE By Jalyn Grace, Pastor at Vessel Of Honor Ministries in Chaumont, NY. My profound journey into discovering natural alternatives across the spectrum for myself, family and the wellbeing of the human spirit, mind, soul and body has led to the birthing of GRACE By Jalyn Grace Balms and Essential Oils.
- Living in the upper Hemisphere of Upstate New York, boarder line with Canada, the winter experiences can be compared to that of the North Pole. Having various skin types in my family, I searched for years on a quest to find skincare product that would work for the entire family without breaking the bank.
- After spending extensively on special cream for the body, special cream for the hands, special cream for the feet and special cream for the face, I tried to find an all for one skin care product and could not.
- In the latter part of 2020 going into 2021, I experimented with products in my kitchen cabinet, bathroom cupboards and prayer room. There I began to mix few of my favorite natural aromas and butters and began to make balms that became effective for skin care use without very oily results. The first batch was used in the harshest of Winter in 2020 and produced outstanding results for the entire family. I could not keep up with the usage of the balms, because everyone grabbed it and began usage from head to toe.
- There I realized; I had something but did not know exactly what to do with it. In 2022, I attended my favorite conference in Harvey Cedar, New Jersey hosted by Lisa Perna AKA Mama Lisa, called Daddy’s Girl. I decided to make a batch to share with Mama Lisa and bring extra to give away.
- On September 24th, 2022 (Saturday night), after the evening service, we all sat around for fellowship and the healing power of the Lord began to flow. I was led to take the balm I brought to share out of my pocketbook and rubbed “Grandma” Linda’s legs and feet that appeared swollen from her long drive to the conference. I got on the floor and began to do so. Later, more Warriors in attendance joined us and I started to share the balm with anyone who wanted to try it.
- And as one would say, the rest is history, but it was not that easy. One of my Warrior Sister at the conference, Amy Graff said, “you should sell it.” I said, no, I just make it for my family, and we enjoy using it.
- After returning from the conference, I found myself making more balms, different scents and seeing results that were beyond imaginable. I began to take my Warrior Sister’s suggestions into consideration and within nine months of the Daddy’s Girl Conference 2022, GRACE By Jalyn Grace was birthed.
